JAPANESE GRAND PRIX
Suzuka International Racing Course. 24 September 2019
February 13, 2015

The Argentine tops his second pre-season test at a rain hit Sepang International Circuit.
He may have missed last week's test at Magny-Cours, but Nordsjoen Racing's Agustin Canapino showed no sign of stopping his impressive pre-season form on his return to the car in Sepang; the Argentine topped his second test of the year with a 1:33.366.

In the first rain hit session of 2015, it seemed for a long time that Red Archer would be the team in the spotlight as new boy Dovydas Petravicius topped the time sheets (ending up less than a tenth off Canapino's fastest effort) ahead of his team mate Deividas Misiulis; the impressive Lithuanian and compatriot of Petravicius five tenths off Canapino himself.

Fran Lopez however, an ever present of the top five primary drivers this year, would split the two Red Archers four tenths off the fastest time with Bart De Vos putting in a noteworthy effort for Kernow sticking it amongst the front runners of the test. Jordan Weekes and Jarl Teien for the first time this year were not present in the top five.

Once again, all 42 potential drivers were out on track; though perhaps some more welcome than others. Heated conversations about respect on track broke out near the end of the session with a general warning issued to all drivers. With all 28 primary drivers present at some point during the 12-hour period, one can only wonder how feisty things will get once the cars hit Melbourne Park.

The final incident of note was a problem for Nordsjoen Racing reserve Matt Richards who was forced to abandon his run half way through due to an unspecified car issue. It ironically left the team with the most testing laps under their belt with the least done at Pre-Season Test #3.
